Our new van!

Well here's the rest of the van story. Mike searched for a van in WV, when we didn't find anything that met our deputation needs or in our price range. Then we decided it was the Lord's will that we continue to drive our van until he showed us different. It ran well but on our way from PA to MN we stopped at a fast food restaurant and across the road there was a dealership selling 2008 vans for less than 15,000.. a much newer and better priced van then we had seen. Unfortunately, that day we didn't have time to trade in and buy a new vehicle so we continued. However Mike noted the exit and made plans to revisit it on our way home. It wasn't until we arrived in IA that our van started acting up again. We did however make it back to the exit and stayed in a hotel where we were planning to buy the van the next morning. On the way to the dealership Mike was excited as the van seemed to be running great again, and was hoping for a good trade in. Well when the dealership went to appraise our van they couldn't get it to even start..Mike either. However after 2 hrs of negotiations they gave us as much as they could for a van with over 100,000 and overlooked it wasn't currently even able to start! We then drove home in a 2008 Black Dodge Caravan with stow and go (great for all our deputation and suitcases we need in our travelling). It only has 40,000 miles and we are enjoying the much better gas mileage...besides having a van that works. Praise the Lord with us! This is just another one of the things we are giving Thanks for this year!
