Happy Thanksgiving!

Thursday was a busy day with family arriving from MI (Mike's parents) from Ohio (my great uncle's family) and Lara was suppose to be flying in from NJ to all join us and my parents and grandparents for dinner at 2. My dad cooked most of the meal and it was very good..who has room for dessert? However, Laura ended up being in the airport from 4 am to 8 pm. We were sad not to have her here and then they also lost her luggage. She arrived and we enjoyed spending yesterday with her only to have her have to go back to the Pittsburgh airport today to fly to India. She will be there for a week with a medical missions team. We were so happy to get the news in the afternoon that Reana had finally been released from the hospital and so they were able to have an evening Thanksgiving time all together. We didn't have a lot of time to get ready for Thanksgiving Day so with the little time we had I found a cute name card craft. The boys painted the feathers with their fingers and glued the googley eyes on (don't googley eyes make everything more fun?!) We also worked on a program the last couple weeks at school. They sang "Come ye thankful people come" then they each said a verse, Titus .. "O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is Good" and Caleb.. "Unto thee O God, do we give thanks." Then they sang the doxology, Caleb read Psalm 100 and then they sang "Praise Him Praise Him all ye little children." They did a great job! We certainly have so much to be thankful for! Mike had the service Wednesday night here and he shared things the Bible tells us to give thanks for. After that we gave testimony of Scripture that have been a blessing followed by testimonies of answered prayer. We had much to share and be reminded of the Lord's faithfulness and goodness.
