"Silly face"
"Stuck"
Although we haven't gotten to this seashore this week it certainly was nice enough too - We had two 80 degree days. We did go to the park and Caleb went down the slides in his sunglasses, we also played soccer in the backyard and had fun on the swing. Not to long ago Caleb and Titus made snowmen out of cotten balls and buttons at the library so we didn't repeat that craft. We did make Valentines though using stamps. We worked on some simple subtratcion this week, and found squares around the house. Our verse this week was Is 55:6 "Seek ye the Lord, while He may be found." Four of the five days we did lessons from the life of Samuel but today we did Ps 23 - The Lord is my Shepherd, since our theme for the day was sheep. We also did a snow and sea theme, sleep, and school. I found the book "Stone soup" and "The Giant Jam Sandwich" which were some of my favorite books as a child. I also found the words to the "Spaceship in the Sky" song (also know as conehead guy) - made famous by Trevor Gearhart from our years at NBBC. There were a lot of songs beginning with S as well as preschool lessons in his book. We sang "Saved" today and although Caleb is not yet, he prays almost every time that he would understand how to be and be saved some day. We also read the crucifixion story in the "Jesus in every story" book tonight. I try to share with him often how to be saved, why, and what Jesus did for him, but don't believe he's quite ready yet - we're praying his salvatoin but only when he truly understands.

Hi Carrie! Got your note on my blog. I'm so glad you liked the TAC catalog!! You only need a few blocks to get started since the stamps can be interchanged on the block. The sizes that the stamps will fit on are listed under each set. I use a 2x2 or 3x3 a lot, but I have a few more just for convenience sake. The blocks are clear and are found on page 124 (Letter B). You can buy them in sets or just one or two at a time. :) And you only need to buy them once!!
Feel free to email me if you have more questions. My email should be on the back of the catalog. :)
Blessings!
Tricia
80 Degrees! Sure sounds like some nice weather to me. We are supposed to be getting another storm here today. Hopefully after February the temps. will start getting warmer too.
I enjoy all your ideas for learning the letters. I will be starting Alyssa next year and am looking forward to implementing some of your ideas. Is Caleb going to school next year or are you homeschooling?
