We had such good services and fellowship last week while the Tozours and Wessbergs were here. Each service had something special just for me. Starting with SS Michael W preached on living victoriously. I can't live the Christian life by myself I must Have Christ's power. Victory comes from obedience.
Then for R Tozours messages - first off Life fit for a king - We are to walk worthy of the vocation we are called to and one of those is that we are Priests and Kings. In the OT we see 3 priorities of Kings - 1)Own a copy of the law, 2) Meditate on it daily, and 3) Keep and do the teachings of God's law. Next he preached on Prayer that prevails. "Prayer is not conquering God's reluctance but grabbing God's willingness." How long will you pray - expect great things from God!
Tuesday was a message we had heard before but one we could use every week on Secound-Hand Saint Syndrome. There are 3 chairs and we all sit in one - Commitment (Passsionate love for God and Purposeful submission to His Word) Compromise (Foundation is what others are doing, go through motions, pragmatic view of Scripture) and Conflict (Practical atheism, live as God doesn't exist) Don't live with a stale faith.
Christ wants us to be Holy was Wednesday's message. A just man falls 7 times but rises again. Perfection is developed through preaching, personal Bible study,a nd problems.
Thursday was the message I needed most! Entitiled "Give till it hurts" didn't just touch on giving financially but the widow who had one meal left but trusted and obeyed God, walking by faith and not sight and saw the Lord provide till the famine ended. God is Faithful - he's rarely early but always on time. We also were able to have the team over for a big turkey dinner and had so many good times of fellowship with them.
Friday nights message was on the reality of hell - the plea of those there - Please tell my family! A great service for so may teens and adults that showed up. With the Revival services came some gettting right with God and authorities, several of our teens have been involved in sinful things, me and my husband are both counseling through some of these. Please pray for us, the teens and our church. In March we have Missions Conference as well as we will beginning to bring in candidates to become our next Senior Pastor.

Sounds like you had a wonderful week that was both challenging and uplifting! We have special meetings this next week at our church and hopefully they will be just as good as yours! We'll keep praying for your teens and for wisdom in your counselings!
