So the boys had off Friday but then Monday we had a snow day! It was nice having the boys home especially because I didn't really feel like I got to spend much of Friday with them because we were working on the banquet food. Also because of the banquet we didn't make homemade valentines for our families this year, I bought boxed cards and we used this morning to finally write notes and get them sent out. When we got up in the morning I was so surprised they called off school because we had less than an inch, but all through the morning it kept snowing and even turned to rain in the afternoon. The other 2 times we have had snow it was just a dusting so this was the first time the boys had a chance to play in snow here in AR. I was really surprised too when they stayed out for about an hour..and I was regretting that I didn't get dressed up and go with them. I do like how our house is laid out in a way I could watch the fun. Afterwards they got some hot chocolate. Mike's knee has been really bothering him so he also stayed in. Later we played Valentine Bingo and Wii Olympic games against each other. Each of the boys also helped me made a big heart shaped chocolate chip cookie for their class parties. I certainly enjoy these days of having the boys home.
