Trunk or Treat

I My mother in law loves to have the kids dress up and take them out for candy and free stuff. This year she found a local church hosting a trunk or treat this past weekend. Caleb has an outfit he bought with some money he a while back ago and wanted to wear it. The others I didn't even have anything for but I packed overalls so I made Abe a farmer and carried around his tractor. Titus had just got a new soccer jersey (a deal I found at JC Penny for less than $2) so he wore that and carried around a soccer ball. He doesn't really like dressing up much anyway. The activity was suppose to be from 2-4 (nap time) so I had the boys take naps right after lunch and then we went at 3. Only one trunk was still open but he gave the boys a good amount of candy and then sent us into the church to play some games they had set up. For each of the games they won other prizes (tops, stickers, twirlys, pencils, and more. Titus really liked the fishing pole game, Caleb liked mini-golf even though it was Titus who got a hole in one! Abe liked them too although he was too young for most of it. They had one table set up for crafts and another with doughnuts and drinks too. While we were there Mike was at a Master's of Men's conference. He got to preach one of the sessions (3 times) called "Dad, are you listening?" It was a good conference and two men were saved that day. Praise the Lord!
