Caleb turns 5

It is so hard to imagine it has been already 5 years since we added our first child to our family. We love Caleb so much. To describe in one word is ENERGETIC! He is also a leader and loving. He sits at least once a day in front of Abe and sings and talks to him, Abe loves it and coos at him. This past year we were glad that he was born again as well. Now that he is saved he encourages Titus often that he needs to be saved as well. Another exciting thing is his faith - he was praying the other night that God would give us a lot of money, when Mike asked him why he said so we can go to New Zealand soon and tell people about Jesus. He is so excited to go.

For Caleb's birthday this year he is actually spending the day at Faith Christian School. I am looking forward to him telling me about it. Grandma made cupcakes for him to take in for his class. Mike and I had Missions obligations most of the day. Tonight we are going to the Nagengast's house for dinner before church tonight. We did celebrate Caleb's birthday this weekend since we knew today we would not be together much. Friday night a lot of Mike's family came over for turkey dinner followed by a Curious George birthday cake and presents. Caleb had a little trouble blowing out the candles, I think he inhaled one time, and almost burnt his chin another. We got Caleb a light up bike helmet. Saturday we went to Chuck e Cheese(forgot camera) and his cousin Matt also spent the weekend with us. This morning when I was talking to him he said he didn't want to be 5, he liked being 4. I told him too late, you already are 5. I know this year will hold many exciting things for him, and all of us. Happy Birthday Caleb! We love you...to the moon and back again, and so much more.

I love the cake! Caleb is a sweet boy. :) I love that he witnesses to Titus and prays for money so you can be missionaries faster. Love you.
