A Timely Reminder

“Spending fifteen minutes thinking about what you are going to do before you start will save four hours of wasted time later on. Any individual who has thought through her workday, set priorities, and organized the days’ tasks is likely to accomplish far more than someone who randomly moves through the day.” (James W. Botkin) This was the post subject on girl talk today. Can you believe it's December 3rd already? I definitely think I've been wasting way too much time lately playing facebook tetris and sitting. A task list for each day would definitely be the thing to help me get more done. I am almost done my Christmas letter..which was my project for the day. Besides the normal Christmas things, I've got packing to do! I think it's time for me to get busy!

I'm totally with you. I have to plan ahead or the day slips by and I look around and wonder what I got done (other than hold my little guy). :)

Mike and I took a white board and created magnets for projects and things I regularly need to do on the house and then used that to set a schedule. When I have that visual reminder, I get more done.
