New Church Sign

Mike has been very busy lately..and one of his many projects has been getting our church a new sign. The old one has been around since 1976. Mike wanted to help save the church money so he dug the hole and helped fill it with cement. Today he spent all morning hanging around for the sign to come and then helping a man in the church cut the old sign down and cut it into smaller pieces. Here is a picture of them taking down the old sign, and one of the new sign.

Things have been exciting around our church lately. We have had many families and single ladies visiting our church lately, and returning. Mike had the service Sunday morning and one lady was saved. She returned Sunday night as well. We also got youth sponsors this past Wednesday which is an answer to prayer. This coming Sunday is our homecoming (56th anniversary) of our church so we have a full day planned including a dessert bake-off and softball game following the afternoon service.
