Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Our Little Reader
Yesterday Caleb completed his hooked on phonics Kindergarten level books and workbook yesterday. Today we awarded him with a certificate and prize. Ever since we have been here in Jax he has asked for this snake from the zoo - we thought it was a well deserved reward. It's a blue twin spotted rattlesnake, with rattle included, Caleb named it Rattles. Caleb has done so well reading every day since March. His biggest word is Kangaroo and Backpack but he also memorized 31 tricky words (sight and special rule words). He has read 16 books throughout the program at least twice each, most of them three times. I highly recommended the program. Even as we read other library books he points out words he knows and asks about others. He also loves to write words. Our plans for the next month include finishing up our preschool activity books and memorizing Psalm 23 then well take a break for the summer. Congratulations Caleb! You did a Great Job!
