Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

We watched the zebra zoom through the zigzag course at the zoo
Letter Z - We made it! Monday was our misc. day covering words like zillion, Zeke, and zipper. We learned about Zaccheus fro the Bible and did a Z worksheet. Our verse was Ps 97:8 "Zion heard and was glad." I stressed how heaven rejoices when a soul is saved. Caleb prays every night that he would be saved one day. Tuesday was our Zoom day. I also told him about Zorro and from the Bible we read about Zechariah. Wednesday we went to the zoo and saw the Zebra, I found plenty of books on Zebras and a few poems. Did you know, Zebras are black animals with white stripes and not the other way around? Our story was about Nebuchadnezzar's pride and how he had to eat grass for 7 years till he acknowledged God as God. In his preschool book we drew zeros and worked on some other sheets about zero. Thursday we went to the Zoological Alligator farm so we didn't do any school work. Friday we finished with our letters learning about the zoo. Our Bible story was Noah's ark. and we did several worksheets counting zoo animals and poems. Then I had Caleb run a zigzag obstacle course seeing how fast he could do it. Next week we start with our hooked on phonics program - Caleb is quite excited about learning how to read.
