Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

On Wacky Wednesdays we take a winter walk in the woods to Waffle World
"What time I am afraid I will trust in thee." Psalm 56:3. No pictures for this week - we all looked a little wacky for that :) I didn't really do any projects with Caleb either - just not enough energy. Since we had Missions Conference this week it was great to have flags from all around the world up in the auditorium and talk about the different countries they were from. Monday our theme was winter walk in the woods - we did take a walk up to the school and picked up my new laptop! We sang "Deep and Wide," "Wise man and Foolish Man" and "What time." We read the story of Jesus walking on the water for our Bible story. Caleb also did a lot of work in his preschool books this week. Tuesday we had waffles for dinner and had a Waffle World theme. We watched some water skiing on TV, sang the watermelon song, and had our Bible story on Jesus loving all the children of the world. Then we had Wacky wishes Wednesday. Our Bible story was about the widow of Zarephath and how she kept having enough oil every day to make more food. We also worked on learning the days of the week. Thursday was about Wind and Water. Caleb colored a picture about the wise man and foolish man's houses when the rain came down since that was our Bible story for the day. I had hoped to make a wind chime but didn't. We did study warning signs you see on the roads and Friday when we reviewed he knew all 10 of them. Friday was our wolf day. Our Bible story was lambs among wolves and we read some stories including "Peter and the wolf," "The 3 little pigs," and "The wolf who called boy." We have only 2 days of X this week so you can expect another post soon (with pictures).
