Easter week fun

We had a very fun and busy week with Mike's parents here - I could make a post for each day but decided just to lump it into one. Here were some of the highlights from our week. It was Tuesday evening when Roger and Tina got here, the boys got some books every day from them and after the boys went to bed we played games every night (Uno spin and hand and foot). Before they got here my parents package arrived with presents from their cruise. I got some jewelry and the boys got shirts that change color in the sun.
Wednesday morning we went to the zoo, rode the train (after we missed it by a minute twice), and saw just the bigger animals. Tuesday afternoon I had a Dr Appointment so I invited Tina along to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was cool - my first time this pregnancy too - it was slower than my boys were at 150. I only gained a pound this month (can hardly believe that with my stretched out belly and appetite). Next month I'll have the ultrasound to see what the baby's sex is.
Thursday we went to St Augustine to visit the Alligator Farm. The kids were able to feed the smaller gators pellets and we watched a trainer feed the larger ones some big white rodents. They had several other neat animals too. Then we went to Checkers for lunch and home for naps. It was the first day of Spring so Mike and I took a ride on his motorcycle (since Mike's parents were here to watch and kids and Mike is trying to sell it). Tina and the boys made their almost traditional bunny cake - we had a chocolate bunny instead of a white coconut bunny.
Friday I had to clean church but while I was away Tina cleaned my fridge - so nice! When the boys got up from their naps we went and got ice cream cones then went Mini-golfing. It was Titus' first time - he loved it. Caleb did pretty well, even got a hole in one on one of the holes. Roger won! When we got back we had lasagna and then dyed Easter eggs followed by a much needed bath.
Saturday we had a sausage egg casserole followed by an egg hunt (sponsored by the Bennetts). Then we went to lunch at Chick-fil-a b/c besides great food, we love their play place. Then Gander mountain. After dinner we had the Resurrection egg hunt and review over what we had been learning each night at dinner (more to come in the next post on this).
Sunday - Resurrection Day - we didn't have SS, just a longer morning service with extra special music. We also had a guest speaker in who may become our Interim pastor. Caleb was in the service with us and the message was on the importance of the grave clothes. We had a big ham dinner after the service and then the Bennetts had to leave. We had a really good week with them!
