Happy Valentine's Day!

I've had such a good day! The Lord hath daily loaded his blessings upon us. I knew Mike wouldn't be in his office this morning so yesterday on our way to the library, me and kids stopped in (he was at chapel) and decorated his office with Valentine's, a balloon and cherry cordials. Today we made him cheesecake and we had one of the (all) the boys favorites - spagetti for dinner. Mike brought me home a card he made (computer style) - it was so nice and then he told me I could order some stamps and scrapbook stuff, from Simplystamping@blogspot.com and her new Angel company she is with. I cried when I read the card, I used to be so big into what Mike was getting me .. . now I know how much he loves me (the presents don't seem so needed). Then for the boys we made up a "treasure hunt" with picture clues they had to follow to find their valentines (chocolate, homemade hearts and a leap frog game). That thought is was so cool.

But that wasn't the best part of the day...Friday last week I mailed out a Valentine's Mad Gab game to our families. I gave them rules, with a timer and they had to call me when they figured all of them out. I couldn't wait to hear from them. This morning we went to a Dr appointment - had an ultrasound - got to see our new little baby, at 9 weeks old, and its heartbeat! Soo cool. We tood the kids along and when they came in the room I asked Caleb why he thought the nurse was looking in my belly? What would be in there? His first guess - "a baby?!" Yes! He was excited ... and he would like a girl. I'm thankful for the baby you won't hear any complaining either boy or girl. My due date is September 16th (I'll go a little earlier b/c I'll have a repeat C-section). I have felt pretty well, not throwing up at all yet. . . With the two boys I was always sick in the mornings, this one I'm a little queasy in the evenings but still doing ok. I am popping our rather quickly and think I'll be in maternity clothes byt he end of this month.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Love the mad gab idea for the parents! Don and I did similar things with our families, since we are so far away from them. I know that they really felt special and loved the games we sent them to play to figure out the new news. I'm sure it was the same for your family! I hope that you continue to have great health through this pregnancy too!

Woo-hoo! Congrats on the great news! My guess is that you're having a girl since the morning sickness is different. That's so exciting!!!
