This week we actually had a visitor frog in our pool all week (we are actually taking our pool down so it was drying out). I found all sorts of great books for this week as well as finger plays, poems, and songs. I decided on the story of Noah and the Flood this week, but it was even more neat that every night our Bible story went along with our Bible verse, Is 43:5 "Fear not, for I am with thee." Stories of Daniel and the lion's den, Jonah, Baby Moses ... all remind us God is with us. Monday we had stories about frogs and fish and had fish and fries for dinner (well all but me). Tuesday we read about foxes. Wednesday we talked about farms and fall. We finished that day by pulling out some of our "leaves" from last year and adding to our thankful tree. Caleb is most thankful for his toys, followed by his teachers. Thursday and Friday we were in Greenville but we did one last day today to fit a few more things in. We talked about Fear, feet and the American flag. Then he colored/painted one. The only thing I wanted to still get in was a game of football but it just didn't work out, today was so nice here but Mike had to go to GA to pick up a group who's van broke down as well as return a van and cook a turkey. Maybe we can get it in tomorrow:) All day he has been singing "Peter, James and John in a sailboat. . ." Here was his favorite poem this week:
"Five little fishes swimming in a pool,
The first one said, the pool is cool.
The second one said the pool is deep,
The third one said I want to sleep,
The forth one said, let's dive and dip,
The fifth one said, I spy a ship,
Fisherman boat comes, line goes KER-SPLASH,
Away the five little fishes dash."
