Our school hardly takes any Friday holidays so it is very hard to plan college trips but when the teachers went to a teacher convention we decided to go - both our seniors are planning to go to BJ next year so we went there first. I was excited b/c I have two sisters who live there! It was a super short trip though because the guys had a football game they had to be back for today.
We made 10 dozen cookies to take to friends we know the night beforewe left. We left Thursday morning at 7:30 (actually 7:45) and since the teachers had our 12 passenger vans we rented a minivan and I followed Mike in our truck. I hate driving but it makes it a little better when I am just following behind. We didn't get there till about 2:45, kids nap time, so we dropped them by my sister Laura's house then headed over to the college for a tour and video.
I got to spend some time with Whitney, we had Pizza in and then headed over to Chuck E Cheese - we got lots of tickets and had lots of fun. Friday we hung around, Mike went and checked up with some of our former teens in NY and then when he got back I went out to the mall with my sisters. Then the visit was over and it was time to ride back - we didn't get in till right before 11 but I am glad for the time I got to see my sisters! Laura is actually taking off for a travelling nursing position in Arizona then going to Cambodia over Thanksgiving, so it was nice to get some time with them.
