Eyes, Ears, and Elbows

Today we finished up E week with learning about our eyes, ears, and elbows. We read some funny books today and made elbow macaroni faces. We had learned about the Easter week and yesterday was "Easter day." The boys really enjoy egg hunting so we did that at least 6 times. Our verse this week was Pr 20:11 "Even a child is known by his doings." We also did a day on elephants, one on Engines (fire and train) and an E day for other E words. This week we also read "The Emperor and the Nightingale" as well as "The Shoemaker and Elves." We had eclairs for a snack this week but the boys didn't really care for them too much. I'm really glad I decided to start this with Caleb it gives him some fun one on one time with me! This week a friend also gave me a "hooked on phonics" kit so I'm going to go over all those things and see how I can implement that too!
