Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Though he slay me...
I have been reading through Job in my God and I time yesterday I came across on of Job's responses to his friends. "The hand of the Lord hath wrought this . . .In His hand is the soul of every living things, and man's breath. . . Though he slay me, yet will I trust in Him." This is so encouraging, not that I've been through anything huge lately but just a great reminder that whatever I go through is allowed/wrought by the Lord, he holds every breath I take, He deeply cares about what I'm going through and even if I face death, I can trust Him. He has wrought it, he knows me and the situation and He has a purpose in putting me through it. (Examples in my life and others - who your parents are, if a parent or sibling has died, a move, health, miscarriage, weather, whatever you are going through) TRUST IN HIM!

I love how God keeps reminding me of His Sovereignty lately. Thank you for this post. Why do we continue to try to do things in our own power when we have a God who is so much bigger than us and who sees the whole picture. I'm so glad I can Trust HIM
