Ice Skating in Fl?

Believe it or not, and even though it was over 80 degrees yesterday, we had an ice skating teen activity. There is an indoor rink down here so after our Friday night revival service we had nachos and cheese, played a guess the candy bar game and then went ice skating with 28 teens.
About 12 of the teens are from our normal youth group most of the rest were from the Christian school here. It was fun and even though my feet are quite sore today - it was worth it. I had a babysitter for the boys so that made it nice too. The teens really enjoyed it too already asking if we can do it again - soon! I was surprised how well they did.

sound like you have some really nice teens. do they all pay for their own skating or does the church pitch in?

They pay for most of the activities, for our afterglows they contribute a dollar each and we let them come to prayer breakfasts free.
Actually a few of the teens had earned a free activity for getting so high on their points last year - and this was the activity we chose for the reward.
