Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Candlepin Bowling
So this week as we were looking for something to do here in Northern CT, on the border of MA and close to RI. Mike gave the boys the option of going bowling (which they have been doing indoor with plastic cups and a ball) or going to the RI zoo. Well they said since we had just been to a zoo (the Boston zoo) last week they wanted to go bowling. Actually they didn't say that till later but their response was immediately "BOWLING!!" It was nice they agreed and we had a really great time. Mike found a place close by that had candle pin bowling for $3 a person with shoe rental. Mike and I had been candle pin bowling before in Canada, but this was the boy's first time. It is neat that the older boys can bowl by themselves. The score ended up being very close too. Mike won, I got second and the boys were only 3 points behind me. Caleb liked keeping score as it was an older building without computers to do that for you. As soon as we were home, or maybe even on the way home they were asking if we could go again sometime.
