Tuscan Beginnings

I was suppose to arrive 15 minutes early for my 1hr massage followed by a 1 hr facial at the Tuscan Spa. IF you missed why...it was Mike's gift to me for Christmas was a Tuscan beginnings package. How nice! Yes, I thought it might be a little strange to have someone else touching me but I requested a lady and my back would really love some relief! So upon arriving they took me to a very nice waiting room gave me some hot earl gray tea with 2 sugars. Not to much later they told asked me "You don't mind having a Male masseuse, do you?" "Actually yes I do," was my response well it turns out they took another lady to my lady and no one checked the names but they had already started so they apologized and said they would get me a gift card for the mistake. Well I mentioned I had a facial scheduled too and wondered if I could still have that or if I should just reschedule the whole thing. But they said I could OK and have my facial and just reschedule my massage (now because Mike bought the package he got $20 off but they said they would still give me that deal as well.) Then I got changed into some slippers and a fluffy white robe they provided me with and was taken to another waiting room for a while. My facial was suppose to start at 4 but they took me in around 3:30 and I think they ended up giving me an hour and a half session instead of an hour...I am not complaining :) Michelle took me into a low lit room with really nice instrumental music playing. I laid face up on a warmed bed, with a pillow under my knees and head. Then I received the nice compliment that I had nice skin. But I still got at least 10 different things applied to my face. One was a low acid mask, it did tingle a little but nothing too bad, also an exfoliator and all different good smelling gels and masks. As they were drying she would take turns giving me hand, arms, leg, feet and neck massages. It felt so goo and I am definitely more relaxed. It is really a nice thing to get to go back since I got the neck massage. They did end up giving me a gift card worth $75..that's enough for another facial or back massage (which ever I like better I guess). I will probably wait a few weeks when I am tight again. I did get to invite my lady to church, tell her about what our family has done and is going to be doing in NZ, and share with her the bridge tract. I hope to maybe even see her this Sunday :) I left very shiny, smelling good and relaxed...definitely a nice gift. Then we took advantage of Pizza Hut's $10 deal and brought pizza home.
