Here we are in our tradition of "Ringing in the New Year." It was neat to actually see Holly in Africa at her midnight..our 6pm on skype. Over there the kids sing a song to the people asking for candy before the sun comes up so she had an early morning besides. We played games together and ate, it was fun but we still were recovering from our trip to MI. Also come morning we were going to open gifts with my side of the family so we rang the year in early...at 10:30 and put the kids to bed. Even Mike and I were asleep before the new year came in.
