Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Grandma's Birthday
My grandma Brodwater turned 74 Sunday. My parents took us to Outback to celebrate. They sang to her and gave her ice cream. It was fun. Almost a year ago she had to move in with my parents b/c of her Alzheimer's. We have a lot of funny stories but it is also sad at times. Even earlier in the week she asked Will if he was wearing "that" to her party (no party and he was in a t-shirt and shorts). My grandma took care of us a lot as little ones. i remember her often putting me to sleep my quoting all the scripture she knew or going through her prayer list. I was always asleep before she finished. I treasure these memories....and was glad we could make another as it was so funny to see her surprise and embarrassment about getting sung to at the restaurant...but loving the dessert :)
