Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

First Snow
We actually saw snow a few times this year as we were up North. Our first sight of it was in October. Here in WV though it has been pretty warm this fall. Last Friday morning though we woke up to several inches. We changed our plans of going out shopping to staying home and having a fun day. I am pretty sure it was accomplished as we made a snowman, Caleb made some snow angels, Abe fell a few times face first in the snow (its hard for a one year old to walk around in boots and a snow suit). he didn't mind a bit though, he loves being outside. Then we went sledding. After a while though we headed back inside for some "warm" hot chocolate. In the evening we cut out snowflakes and taped them to our windows and also did our ice ornaments. What a fun way to celebrate our first snow day. Too bad I didn't let the boys skip school...great thing about homeschooling :)
