Wednesday we started the many years of homeschooling. Caleb began K-5. It's hard to believe he is that old. It was a shortened day of Bible, and explanation of days ahead and rules, he only had a few papers to do. His comment was that school has been fun and he hasn't had to sit too long :). Things are going well and Titus will join the mix on Monday, with the letter of the week program. Two projects we have started on this week with Caleb have been a sheet showing how big he is getting - he gets to color int he stars as he completes tasks he needs to learn. He has already been able to mark off brushing his teeth all by himself, making his bed, setting the table, and starting Kindergarten. He still has to learn other skills like tying his shoes. The other thing he did was make a mobile with his name, address, and phone number. Things are things he has to learn, he also drew a family picture and what our house looks like. That was interesting to me because he drew a pic of the inside, showing where rooms were instead of the outside. I also did an interview with him at the end of the first day and Grandma Bennett took us out to McDonald's for lunch.
Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Sounds like you're off to a good start!!! :) Hey, one question - what do you do for Bible? My mother-in-law ordered all of Aaron's things and didn't get the book for a Bible class. I've got a few ideas, but it's gonna take a lot of studying on my part, not that that's bad, but don't want to cheat him because I don't have enough time to study as much as I'd like. Just wondering how you guys do it. Keep up the good work! :)
