Buffalo revisit

It has been 3 years since we had been here in Buffalo. When we left the church here to go to Fl, Caleb was 2 1/2 and Titus only 6 months. We have a lot of great memories here and still many friends. Although our time here was short, I feel we made the most of it, getting to visit and see so many of our friends as well as our old house, the hospital the boys were born in, the park, the zoo, and even eating at our little favorite corner Chinese place. Unfortunately the boys don't really remember this place so we were trying to give them memories of the place they were born. The church here in West Seneca had VBS this this week which gave the boys extra opportunities to meet their nursery buddies of former days. It was amazing to see how much all these kids have grown in 3 years. One day we got to go to a park for a play date with Caleb's pen pal from the area. It was really sweet when he gave Caleb one his own nice toys to have. We had another play date Saturday night with more friends, while Mike got to go play basketball with the men. We attended one of our former youth group teens wedding this weekend as well. I also had the chance to go out with the Cline ladies for a fun afternoon of deal shopping (and I found some good ones) as well as finishing the time with a milkshake from Friendly's. It was so nice to rekindle all these special relationships and that wasn't all because Sunday morning we saw so many more that mean a lot to us. In Sunday school we were able go give our NZ presentation and share how the Lord has been working in our lives. Mike also preaching the morning service. Tonight we will be in another church nearby. This visit has been so good and I am a little sad to go. On our way out of Buffalo though we plan to stop by the falls, that will be exciting, the boys have been looking forward to seeing them.

I wish I'd known of this good church when we lived in Buffalo!! We ended up going down to Batavia for church (Grace Baptist), but lived in Depew/Lancaster.
