On Wednesday this week I decided to follow through with my plans to get a hair cut. Go figure this morning my hair actually turned out nice. But it was a good day to go out since Mike was home and Mom (not in the hayfield) so Mom volunteered to go with me and Mike said he would watch the boys :) We left early enough so we go out eat lunch together. Then after Arbys headed up to the mall. We did some shopping and I found a new purse and sunglasses and a skirt (all on sale) that I bought with some b-day money I still had. I told Mom I try to look for salons with curly head people. They just know how to cut curly hair better, and not too expensive. Well I decided on Regis and the lady who took me listened to me explain how my hair has always been long layers or short layers...seems triangular...anyway she told me she had learned a new technique to take that triangle look away. She washed it, cut some length off and then blow dried and straight ironed it before she took scissors downward all over making many edges...sounds goof to me since usually new cuts means curly hair. When she got done it was really straight (the straightest its ever been) and it felt very good. Now 3 days later it doesn't curl up quite like I'm used to so I still feel like I'm trying to figure out how to make it look good. But I still like not having a triangle shaped look.
Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Looks great, Carrie! I desperately need to chop my hair off too.
I LOVE it!!!! Seems like everybody is cutting their hair, but I think it's a summer thing! VERY cute look on you!
I know exactly what you mean about the triangle look. I feel like mine ends up looking that way when it grows out. NOT what I like!
I like it...It's a pretty big change for your look! The tye dye shirts look great too! Sounds like you all are having a great time on the farm. I am staying home from camp this week (to work on visa stuff and it's a boys week anyways)....hopefully that means longer emails to come. love ya
adorable hair cut! looks great. i am so OVERDUE for a haircut. (it has been a year and a half - LITERALLY). Jason actually trimmed the bottom of my hair a few weeks ago b/c it was so aweful. so it doesnt' really matter b/c i wear a poneytail every day anyways! :)
