Recent happenings

I'm working hard to catch by blog up to real time but there is just so much going on, I'm still posting about a week behind but wanted to fill you in on some more recent things. The big news, today is my last day in my 20's usually I am more sober thinking how I am halfway to 60! but this year I'm not. I am so happy to have a wonderful husband, 3 beautiful boys, in the ministry..headed to NZ. And although I have so much to be thankful for I'm not content as I have had been struggles lately with my devotion time, wrong attitudes, and making a good schedule for our family. This week we are having Revival services with Morris Gleiser, It has been really good and I know I needed this.
Lately we have been fishing again. My parent's farm has 4 ponds. This is one of the bass we have caught, unfortunately it is not the one of Mike's 18 inch he caught on the day I forgot the camera. Also one day I went in to retrieve my lure from a pipe it got stuck on. Caleb immediately wanted to come in as well so he went in the shallow area and to my surprise Titus put his feet in too (mud bottom). Laura and Will were here for the week but left now to start staff training at the Wilds, we're all jealous. Also last week we worked on fence and found 3 box turtles and had 2 black snakes visit us up here on the hill. Our mouse kill in the house is up to...maybe we should just keep one of those black snakes as a pet!
Lots of Red Wings cheering too as they are in the finals for the Stanley Cup. I'm pretty sure we'll be watching game 3 tomorrow night after the service while eating the chocolate cake and chocolate covered strawberries Mike made for my birthday. Also for tomorrow bowling is on the schedule and a shish kabob with my parents.
