Brief Updates

I do plan to write some longer blogs but wanted to just jot a few things now:

This week our AWANA year ended, Caleb completed his book (and we have only been here since January). Sunday night they are having an awards time followed by a service, dinner on the grounds and the Grand Prix. Each of the boys have a car.

Abe got his first hair cut, finally cut his 2nd tooth and is climbing on everything. Last night he would have gone head first into the tub if not for his mama's quick reflexes.

We finally got our garden planted this week..we have been having rain almost every day for at least two weeks.

We received an anonymous large money gift in the mail this week. What a blessing.

Lastly Mike's grandpa went in the hospital last week with a racing heart. They got it back down with medicine and he was discharged, Two days later he was returned with the same symptoms. He also had some really hard time breathing and had to put a high concentration oxygen mask on him. They even called the family in Wednesday. Then he started doing better even moving down from CCU to ICU yesterday. He is still on oxygen though and they are checking for blood clots (none in his lungs though). Mike was able to talk to him yesterday. We are going to drive to MI Sunday night after the Grand Prix and spend some time up there.

We have to take my grandma's car though because our van is having mechanical problems.
