Unfortunately, it has been too long since I have been to the beach. So I suggested and really hinted that I would really like to make it to the beach this year. My oldest sister lives 3 hours away from one, so I figured that was our chance. My parents and brother came down for the weekend too so we had a wonderful time with our family and the beach! The day was gorgeous, and I never know why but sandwiches always taste better on the beach, and I thought it was well worth the drive. The water was kind of rough, but we certainly enjoyed it, enjoying the wind, waves, sun with my family and kids is my kind of day!
