Caleb - 8

This is our Caleb son, who turned 8 last month! Caleb always thinks he is hilarious, he also thinks he is a good dancer and a kung fu master. He always is at full energy but at least can focus and sit well when its time to learn. All school year he has been able to stay on green and get a sticker for his good behavior, until just a few days ago he had his first bad behavior at the lunch table. His teacher speaks highly of him and he is a straight A student at this point. Caleb is friends with everyone. He still likes to be in charge and he is still a good helper when asked. He continues to keep growing inches at time. The boys take turns getting the paper each morning and now Caleb wears my boots to go it (not that they quite fit but it won't be long). His new favorite breakfast after years of pop-tarts is now Cinnamon Toast Crunch. He loves PB&J sandwiches but his best friend at school is allergic so he won't let me pack any peanut stuff so he can sit by him at lunch. Caleb continues to memorize big passages of Scripture each Wednesday night for AWANA and we are excited to have several more families with kids coming to our church now. Caleb still says he is young enough for hugs and kisses from his mom, which I am so glad about because even though I see him getting so big and smart, he's still my little boy.
