It just so happened that Caleb's birthday fell on a Friday and the 100th day of school. I sent in a brownie cake painted like Kung Fu Panda Po's head. They had some extra fun stuff going on during the day including a pizza party (making that 2 days in a row of pizza for Caleb..but he certainly didn't mind). After school we picked the boys up from school went home and changed and headed out again, not telling Caleb where we were going. He had requested going to a water park with his family, over having a party with his school friends (which I was quite surprised about) but we had thought we weren't going to be able to go till February. About an hour down the road I handed him the Ipad with the water park website up, he was a little nonchalant saying that looks cool and then we told him "we are headed there." It took him a minute and then said "Now?!" and then he got really excited. We ate dinner at Culvers but were too full for ice cream so we want to the water park and then back to Culvers for ice cream afterwards. After ice cream, we headed back to the hotel and our tire blew out (our new expensive tires that we thought we had a warranty on). But a man stopped to help and talked religion with Mike and lent his flashlight for us. When we did get back to the hotel Caleb opened some presents and we headed to bed.
Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.
