Matt and Titus got to sleep in the basement on sleeping bags but as we were headed to bed it was discovered that a pipe had broke and the floor was wet. We had to move them upstairs. The next day we spent the morning at the Safari Playland. There were a lot more kids there than usual with the schools out for the holidays. The kids made some new friends and played tag and hide and seek. In the evening the grandparents and Matt's family came over for dinner and the party. He had another Spiderman birthday cake made by Mike's mom. Titus' favorite ice cream is vanilla and he doesn't really care for cake too much..he didn't even have any.
Some things to remember about Titus at this time in his life: he is a perfectionist in many areas having to have things just so. He cries often when working on an art project b/c he doesn't turn out just like he wants it to look. He will erase a letter on his paper more than 5 times to get it just right (but his writing is very nice). He can read single vowel words. He loves getting alone sometimes and really loves playing the Wii or his new Leapster explorer. He doesn't care for the snow but likes the hot chocolate that follows. His favorite foods are cheesy rice, mashed potatoes, Mcd french fries, and egg wraps. His favorite color is still red. We are waiting for him to hit his growth spurt he is still close to the same height as he was a year ago. Still likes to cuddle, snuggle and be read to. Enjoys his SS class and Cubbies which both have the same teachers). Likes to play games - newest favorites are Rat-a Tat Cat and There's a Moose in your house. Growing up fast! Love Him!
