Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Caleb looses his first tooth
Although his younger friends have lost several teeth, it wasn't until this month that Caleb got his first tooth. His brother Titus pulled something out of his mouth and got the ball rolling. This week we watched it each day get looser. He could push it just about horizontal. Well Grammy got back from the Wilds last night and we were talking about it and we came up with several ideas...pliers (like my dad did too me) the doorknob pull, a punch to the mouth...anyway Mike came up with the great idea of getting his beloved stuffed animal "Nook" to be involved in the process. Mike tied some dental floss around his tooth and the dog and then Caleb launched him with a slingshot motion off the clothesline. He was flinging him much farther before in the test runs but it was enough to do the trick. However, it wasn't so easy to find that little baby tooth in the grass. I had to watch the video just to see where he was standing and where the tooth went. Just so you all know after the video clip ended there was a lot of tears and blood. The root was still pretty deep on one side. I think the dollar he found under his pillow helped him forget about the pain though.
