Afternoon at the Wilds

This weekend a friend of Mike's was getting married..and it is my brother's birthday...and it was an excuse to see my family...(do I need any other excuses?) Thursday morning we headed down to Greenville but decided to take a detour and stop at the Wilds for a few hours. When we asked the boys what they wanted to do Caleb said water slide and Titus wanted to play with the water guns, so we planned for a wet time. We got there around 3 and quickly visited with my sisters who are nurses there this summer then took them down the water slide. We had 2 turns each before there was a lightning sighting. Everyone had to find shelter. We went down by the ballfields and were thankful to find my brother there as well so we got to pass the time with all them while we waited for the all clear to go back out. After about 20 minutes it was only raining so we got to go back out. We decided to quickly grab up tubes and go tubing (we were wet anyway and it is one of my favorite things to do). Then we played mini-gold while we waited for dinner..picnic on the field. After visiting with some staff we got changed toured some of the new remodeling and get a snack then left to go the rest of the way to Greenville. It was a very fun couple hours. We look forward to them all coming down tomorrow for us to see them some more. Sorry for the lack of pictures but we were all wet.
