The boys and I have been counting down the days till Christmas on an advent calendar I got at our grocery store. Each day the boys take turns moving the candy cane to the new day and getting the candy out..but they don't get to keep it, they have to give it to their brother, then they can pick one out of the bottom pocket. We are all ready for Christmas morning...too bad we are not ready to move as well, but that is a work in progress. Mike's parents fly in tomorrow morning before 10, they thought they were going to get lots of snow today, but it looks OK. She always begs for snow when we come to visit but this year when she had to travel that was not the case. It's a little confusing to have Christmas when its 70 degrees out, but that's how it will be in NZ too, so we are just in training I guess. Tonight we had a Christmas Eve service, we read the Christmas story injecting Christmas carols were they fit then Mike preached on Christ's lowly birth. We've all had colds this week (except Abe Praise the Lord) but we have managed to still get a lot done. It's a good thing since this is how the rest of our week goes: Christmas Day, 2 days kidnapped by my in-laws, Sunday, Monday - Titus's birthday then Tuesday we move! I'm feeling the pressure majorly! Anyway I'm savoring each day and loving my kids, family, and most of all the relationship and peace I have in Christ. I hope you all have Peace in these crazy and stressful times. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
