10 years ago is the first time I remember meeting my husband. I had seen him around the year before..like standing on a table singing "We all live in a yellow submarine..." He says we even rode together on the bus (I don't remember that). Anyway when we returned to school our sophomore year I was introduced to him by my roommate Shyla. He was telling us about how he never got birthday cards on his birthday because his family celebrated before he left for college. I thought that was so sad so decided to make him a birthday card...it was rather large and he loved it...and the rest is history. I am so thankful for meeting my best friend and cherish every day I get to be with him. The Lord has been so good to us. I have really enjoyed seeing him grow these last couple years. He has become a great father...and in 7 days we will be welcoming our 3rd boy to the family. He has become grounded in his beliefs and put them to practice. He has shown faith and obedience in listing as the Lord has led us over the last couple years.
Mike doesn't care to go out to dinner or have a big party. He prefers to be home and relax with his family. So that is what we will do tonight. I have ribs in the crock pot and husked some corn on the cob. We will have some more cheesecake and just enjoying the evening at home. I surprised him with the new NFL Wii game today - maybe that is what we will play tonight. We also made some homemade cards for him.

We love him so much...Happy Birthday Mike!!!
