Thank you...that I got saved!

This was Caleb's prayer at lunch today. For the last two months his prayer has been, "help me get saved one time." Although Caleb has been asking us for a couple of months about being saved we have just been explaining the gospel to him and putting it off till he was a little older. We wanted to make sure he not only understood that Jesus died and rose again but that Jesus died for Caleb, because he was a sinner. Last night during the church invitation Caleb told me and Mike that he wanted to be saved. When we got home we asked him many questions and shared the gospel story with him. Then he accepted Christ as His Savior! Hallelujah! I also was four when I was saved and am so thankful Caleb has made this very important decision in his life.
After we put the boys to bed I had to go back in the room to tell them too be quiet...Caleb says "Titus just got saved, I helped him!" I explained to him that Titus had to understand and pray himself. I am thankful at least for Caleb's enthusiasm and excitement about it. We look forward to calling his grand parents tonight to let them know.

What an amazing blessing! I look forward with much prayer to the time that our boys understand and accept the Lord as well! How exciting this must be for you!!!

I am really excited about Caleb, and praying that I will be able to share a similar testimony for Kara.

Responding to your comment, I was a little messed up about the gender change because I already had the baby girl clothes washed and hung up. So I did have to come home and do a bunch of laundry. I do always take an outfit for either or to the hospital, so we did have a new take home outfit for him and didn't have to go buy anything. Sorry to keep you up in the night :) Hopefully you'll have better sleep until your c-section.
