After we left NJ we drove 12 hours to MI. It's nice at the lake to get some extra rest, rays, reading and family time. We went fishing just about every day and only had one stormy day. Mike and his dad both caught 14 and 15 in bass, Caleb caught a 12 in on my pole. We caught lots of sunfish bluegills as well and had a fish fry on Thursday night. The boys had tons of fun, practicing fishing with rods minus hooks and playing with little nets. Caleb liked the big tube best...he went on with cousin Matt, then Me and Titus, then he did it by himself for his first time. Mike's favorite activity was his parent's jet ski that they got by selling their speed boat. In case you were wondering about 7 mo pregnant me on a tube...we were behind a pontoon and hardly got wet. Caleb discovered how much he likes no-bake cookies (I never make them b/c I don't eat PB but I'm pretty sure they are his new favorite). We got to see the great grandparents, the Tompkins (Tina's sister's family), and Mike's brother as well. We were able to spend 4 1/2 days at the lake as relaxing as it was I was glad to have a real shower again once we left on July 4th.
Caleb's funny phrase for the week was...I certainly will not...touch a worm, throw the fish back in the water, swim in the lake...anything he was strongly opposed to. Titus on the other hand gave out many thumbs up showing his approval of all sorts of fun!
