Memorial Weekend

We've had a busy weekend. Saturday we had a teen activity to Adventure Landing (mini-golf, lasertron, arcades, and for some go carting. We had 10 teens come out and had a good morning on a beautiful day! That afternoon we had some family fun in our pool before I had to clean the church. Sunday our choir had a mini-cantata called "Bring back the glory." to honor our military men and encourage us to stay close to God. Two of our pastors were gone so Mike had combined SS classes and then Sunday morning and evening services. We got bit 3 times on his foot by ants the night before so his foot was swelled and he almost couldn't wear a shoe. My home church in WV started Revival services with Jerry Sivinsky and had 3 saved in the morning service. Today we had a hot dog lunch planned followed by some volleyball in the gym. It was so much fun...I really enjoy playing volleyball (even at 5 mo pregnant). We also had on matching shirts we got at Wal-Mart for less than $3 each (sorry no pic). My sister Laura also returned safely from her medical mission trip in Uganda today. I didn't get to talk to her long but hope too soon. I know they had a great trip and saw hundreds saved! Hope you all had a good Memorial weekend and had a chance to thank the Lord for the freedom we have from sin as well as those who have fought for our freedom.

Thanks for praying for me. I am fine going door to door when we go for our church on Saturdays. It's the everyday witnessing I struggle with doing it on my own. It's easy to make 100 hundred excuses not too and also the fear of it all. I too want to be so effective with witnessing on my own. I am so humbled the older I get at what Jesus did for me and it becomes so much more real each time I think about it. I have been doing the grocery shopping now so I've been trying to go on the same day each week, around the same time, and getting to know the check out lady. It does make it easier when I have one of the kids to strike up a conversation. I will pray for you, as well.

Glad you all had a great Memorial weekend!

Looks like you had a very busy, but great weekend!

By the way, you are looking so great in your last post! So glad to hear that everything is going so well. Any names picked out yet, or are you waiting to disclose that till he's here? Also, what is Titus' middle name? We love that name and were actually going to use it if our little Megan had been a boy, but we found that it worked better as a middle name. He would have been named Alexander Titus. I was just wondering what middle name you chose. Hang in there! It won't be long now!
