Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

The yak yelled "yuck" when he tasted the yellow yams
Well I had a really hard time finding books at the library this week so Y week was shortened to a few days. We got out Yahtzee this past week - Caleb loves it!! He not only plays the modified game with us but enjoys sitting on his own trying for a Yahtzee! Matthew 5:14 "Ye are the light of the world." Wednesday our theme was yawning yaks and we made homemade pizza with yeast. Thursday was our Yellow day - we all wore yellow and read about George's friend - the man with the yellow hat. We also read books about being young. Our Bible story was Young David defeats Goliath -after last Sunday's message I was careful to point out if David wouldn't have had God he would not have won. Today our theme was year of the yarn. We made a yarn covered Y, colored a candle picture did some worksheets and talked about the months that are in a year. Our Bible story was the parable of the sower since one of our books was about the year of no more corn. Too bad we didn't have a yo-yo at our house and I wish I could have found more books to do at least one more day. It looks like we are going to do 4 days of Z. Mike's parents come Tuesday and we will be going to the zoo.
