A milk mustache and mittens do not belong on monsters

We have had a crazy week with something going on each night but we still have managed to find plenty of time to learn about M words. We have also been very busy making all sorts of good food like rice krispy treats (with marshmallows), 7 different kinds of cookies, meatballs, monkey bread, and macaroni. Monday we read several books about the moon and sang some songs. I am also trying to incorporate some things about Christmas into our letters so this week we talked about Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus every day. Our verse this week was Pr 23:26 "My son, give me thine heart." Tuesday we mead books on manners, mommies, and mittens. We sang "Old Mother Leary" and "Remember your Manners." The boys and their friend Haley really liked making some mittens which are now hanging on our Christmas tree. Wednesday we read books about magic, mysteries and moo. We finished with doing a few magic tricks for Caleb. Thursday was our moose and mice day - I really like Laura Numeroff's "If you give a moose a muffin" and "If you give a mouse a cookie" but I found several other really cute books for that day. That afternoon we spent about 2 hrs decorating the sugar and gingerbread cookies we had made earlier in the week. Then Friday we read books about monsters and mountains. Here's a cute little poem to make you smile:
If you think you hear a monster,
Growling somewhere outside,
It's probably just your stomach,
Needing some food inside!

Very cute poem! My stomach was rumbling the other night and every time it did Aaron would look at me and laugh and say "scuse you"! That made me laugh too! That's so great that even though you were so busy you still made time to learn about another letter! I honestly can't tell you how fun this is to read about all your real life alphabet adventures! Keep up the good work!
