Job 37:5-7 God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength. He seals the hand of every man, That all men may know His work.

Vacation's beginning in MI
July 31st we left after lunch and made the long trech to MI, we drove about an hour from my house but kept going, the kids were good and we got in before 7am and slept while Mike's mom watched the boys. I found out later My Grandpa went into the hospital that night but no one knew this would be the week he would take his last breath. My brother turned 16 and got his licence. We went to Burger King and got our fishing licenses then Mike's brother's family came over and Tina and the boys went to VBS and us to prayer meeting. Thursday, August 2nd I got the call that my grandpa passed away in his sleep around 4:30 in the afternoon. That night when we went fishing the sky was lined with the clouds and sun rays - It was so wonderful to think my Grandfather was in heaven then. That night before bed I cried a lot and wrote many memories and thoughts the Lord sent me. Friday was the Bennett's anniversary so we took them out to lunch then did some fishing and swimming. During the week we did a lot of fishing and swimming as well as eating. Sunday was the hardest but during SS the class was listening to Jim Bergs lesson on "Quieting a Noisy Soul" He quoted A W Tozour saying "The most important thing about you is what you know to be true about God." It's not just knowing how big in size our God is but an understanding of his great love that quiets us and puts our souls at rest. We cut our vacation their a little short to make it back to WV for the funeral on Monday. We did have a really nice time in MI though - thanks so much Roger and Tina

Love Titus' red sunglasses. :) And I don't believe you that he liked that fish. He looks afraid of it!
Glad you had such a wonderful time visiting your in-laws. They look so joyful and fun to be around. I bet you all loved the relaxing family times together on the lake!
