So I already told you about our busy Sunday lives and Mondays are not much different (just different stuff) so by 2:30 I was ready to take a nap I got the boys layed down and I went to switch my laundry around when I see a van pull up next door and people get out and knock on their door, I of course thought Jehovah witnesses, but I usually try to talk to people and be nice and possibly get to share what I believe. Anyway I went to move the laundry and I hear the doorbell (My kids have just fallen asleep) so I go to get the door and instead of looking out the peephole, b/c I already knew who it was going to be, I just opened up the door. They were already at the van, if I would have been just a little slower! I still have confused thoughts about the whole thing . . . I gave lots of reasons I didn't need their products (which they said were house and car cleaning products) but I think my mistake came when I said "Well how long will it take it?" I never got an answer and before I knew it there was this vacuum cleaner sitting in my house. I immediately said I'm not buying a vacuum cleaner so they said we will be quick . . . An hour and a half later he finally left. I didn't get a nap, I didn't get my peaceful afternoon, and I can't believe I let a salesman in my house (neither could Mike). I am pleased to say the only good about the time "wasted" was I was able to give my testimony clearly to him and talk about his walk with the Lord (He believes there is a God, and has even prayed but not living for the Lord. SO I am thankful for the opportunity as inconvenient as it was and I hope I will be bold and allow the Lord to use me in whatever circumstance to bless His Name!P.S. I was impressed with the self propelling horse powered vacuum that didn't weigh all that much and really picked up the dirt and dust. . . but not for $1,249.

Wow, what an experience! Who knows how the Lord will use your shared word with this guy though. While I'm sure you're frustrated (and you've probably vowed never to let in another salesman) it was no accident the Lord led this guy to your home! Maybe you'll meet him in heaven!
I say all this with a positive attitude because I DID get a nap today. :)
